User’s Privacy Matters to Emergisense
Our goal is to make sure users know how we collect, use, share, and store user’s data when users create an Emergisense account, interact with our customer support specialists, and visit emergisense.com or other Emergisense websites and apps covered by this privacy policy.

Categories of Personal Data Processed by Emergisense
Personal data is processed when the user creates an Emergisense account: When the user creates an Emergisense account, we ask the user to provide his/her email address, name, and password. Users can choose to provide only the user’s first name or a nickname instead of the user’s full name if the user wishes.

Personal Data That Is Processed When User Sync User's Emergisense Devise
When user sync user's Emergisense device through Emergisense Express, we log data about the transmission, such as the IP address used when syncing, the sync time and date, crash/diagnostic logs, geographic location of the device, information about the user's device, information about the network used to sync (e.g., Wi-Fi or cellular).

We process this information to help identify and resolve errors or syncing issues. The legal ground for processing this information for this purpose is Emergisense's legitimate interest in resolving errors or syncing issues and providing quality product support.

Personal Data That Is Processed When the User Communicates with Emergisense Devise
When Users interact with our customer support representatives by email or telephone, online, or in person, we collect personal data, such as the user's name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and contact preferences, and information about the user of the Emergisense product own, such as their serial numbers and dates of purchase, and subscriptions User have purchased. We may also create event logs to diagnose product or app performance-related issues and capture information relating to the support or service issue. To improve customer service, subject to applicable laws, we may also record and review conversations with customer support representatives and analyze any feedback from voluntary customer surveys. With the user's consent, our customer support representatives may sign in to the User's Emergisense account, if appropriate, to help troubleshoot and resolve the user's issue.

User's App Invitees: 
The app is a feature available on some mobile devices that enables the user to send a link to people of the user's choice that allows them to see the real-time location of the user's device. Because anyone with access to the link will be able to see the real-time location of users mobile device, the user should use caution in determining to whom user want to send the link and be sure that the user trusts them to not send the link to others whom user does not want to be able to view the location of users mobile device.

We may disclose personal data about the user to others:
  • If we have users valid consent to do so
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as a valid subpoena, court or judicial order, or other valid legal processes
  • To enforce any of our terms and conditions or policies

Application Analytics
We collect data from users about their usage of the Emergisense mobile apps and Emergisense Express. The types of analytical information that are collected include the date and time the App accesses our servers,
  • app version,
  • the location of the device,
  • language setting,
  • what information and files have been downloaded to the App,
  • user-behavior (e.g., features used, frequency of use), 
  • device state information,
  • device model, hardware, and operating system information
  • information relating to how the app functions.
Emergisense uses this data to improve these and other apps; to develop and market products and features.
That best serves the user and other users and helps identify and fix app stability issues and other usability problems as quickly as possible.
The legal ground for processing this analytical information is our legitimate interest in understanding how our customers interact with our products and apps to enhance our products and app's user experience and functionality.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as we add new products, services, and the app to improve our current offerings and as technologies and laws change. Any changes will become effective upon our posting of the revised Privacy Policy.
